The Five

Tyrant Crown

A five-piece, forged in shadow. Names taken in the long dark; faces yet to be seen.

The Story

A Kingdom of Bone and Ash

Throne of Bones traces the rise and ruin of a king built on conquest — a tyrant whose reign begins with coronation in ash and ends with extinction rites. Thirteen tracks, one arc.

From the instrumental rise of Coronation of Ash to the cathartic finale of Long Live the Tyrant, the album is anthemic, brooding, savage, sorrowful — heavy metal that sounds like the end of empires.

Written by Brian Adrian. Performed by Tyrant Crown. Produced, engineered, mixed and mastered at The Vault — the Kauzak Foundation's private studios.

Burn it down. Black glass sky. And we don't look back now.

— Black Glass Psalm

Tyrant Crown is more than a band. It's applied research — the Kauzak Foundation's living proof that human musicians remain at the heart of music's healing power. Throne of Bones was written by Foundation president Dr. Brian Adrian, performed by Tyrant Crown, and produced inside The Vault — our private studios in Florida.

The Foundation's paper The Missing Bridge maps why high-arousal music — rock and metal among them — is one of the healthiest tools we have for emotional discharge. The band is the proof. The paper is the explanation.

"AI can identify what makes music therapeutic; only human musicians can create music that is therapeutic."

— Dr. Brian Adrian, The Missing Bridge (Kauzak Foundation, January 2026)
